No, MadTech is not technology for my anger management problems! MadTech refers to the confluence of technology that aims to serve the media, advertising and branding world. Similar to London’s role in the FinTech world, London being a centre of global media content production, advertising and branding makes it a natural incubator for these technologies.
Last week before the Bank Holiday, I got the chance to attend Collider’s MadTech demo day. It was hosted at the Digitas Lbi space on Brick Lane.
A host of companies, from around the world, all being incubated in Collider’s London accelerator program presented their latest solutions for the media and technology world. This was a somewhat competitive demo day, so congratulations to Pixoneye, a London-based Tel Aviv company focused on understanding people’s pictures and data in order to serve relevant content to them, which was awarded start-up of the day!
Brands, media, and advertising are around us all of the time. However, you may not be aware of the level of innovation that is going on to link the brands, media and consumers.
